In many of the larger clubs around the UK where epic soaring conditions are the norm, posting small flights on the BGA Ladder could be seen as taking the Michael, but here in Devon the conditions are not quite so easy and so we celebrate small flights to the point where we even hand out a prize.
In honour of the encouragement for exploration by Matt Wright, Le Magnifique Pissoir Trophy is awarded annually to the member who has posted the most flights on the BGA Ladder scoring less than 100 points.
In 2024, it was to John Allan in his Mini Nimbus KPV for posting 4 flights of less than 100 points each on the ladder. .
