The Devon and Somerset Gliding Club is located at North Hill Airfield on the south-west corner of the Blackdown Hills above Broadhembury. Five miles to the east of Cullompton, and five miles to the north-west of Honiton.

Take M5 to Junction 28 at Cullompton. If you are coming from a Southerly direction, turn right over the motorway. If coming from the North turn left at the end of the slip road and take the road to Honiton.
Go past Mole Valley Farmers on left, travel 2.6 miles.
Just past "Keepers Cottage" pub, branch left at junction onto Broad Road.
Travel for 2.8 miles of single track road, up through woods with hairpin bend, very steep hill, past Forest Glade caravan park.
At "T" junction turn right onto Golden Lane.
Travel 0.8 miles, just before the house entrance on right called "Golden Cleeve" you will see a blue DSGC glider sign at entrance to airfield.
Turn right up private wooded drive which has a green iron framed gate at the entrance.

If coming from the East on A303, A30 or A35, at Honiton take the Langford Road signposted Dunkeswell (there are brown signs to Wolford Chapel).
In approximately 2 miles fork left onto Limers Lane, signposted Dunkeswell.
Go past entrance to Wolford Chapel on left, take next left at Wolford Cross onto Long Lane, signposted Broadhembury.
Take next right at crossroads onto Golden Lane, signposted Sheldon and after approximately 1 mile look left for house entrance called "Golden Cleeve" and immediately after on the left you will see a blue DSGC glider sign at entrance to airfield.
Turn left up private wooded drive which has a green iron framed gate at the entrance.
If you plan to arrive at North Hill by air be aware that this can be a busy site with glider movements flying generally unrestricted circuits from both winch and aerotow launches.
Advance notice of arrival is required, please phone for airfield brief before leaving..
North Hill operates within the Dunkeswell Air Traffic Zone (ATZ). Dunkeswell airfield , one mile to the east, is a very busy airfield with powered aircraft, micro-lights and parachute dropping from FL150. Dunkeswell air-ground channel is 123.480. The Dunkeswell Drop-zone controller is on the same radio channel as North Hill gliding 129.905. Please ensure that you contact Dunkeswell or give it a wide berth.
There are four winch runs at North Hill, most of the field is landable, there may be sheep grazing on the field, there is a bridle path along the South side of the airfield.
